The pickelhaube is an approximate size 56, and is a beautiful example which is complete with all components and is uncleaned. The helmet
fittings are made of gilded brass and retain much of their original gilded finish. The eagle is especially stunning, as it retains approximately 95% of
its original fire gilding. The Order of the Black Eagle star is uncleaned with a beautiful patina, with no cracks or damage to the enamel. The leather
body retains its original shape, showing only moderate crazing to both the front and rear visors. The spike is a tall and graceful fluted example as worn by General Officers. There are no extra holes behind the front plate or on the helmet body. An outstanding and untouched example in overall very good+ condition.
