Descripción
The blue pith helmet, model 1, is one of the rarest African pith helmets from the beginnings of the DAK (German Afrika Corps) . This pith helmet goes with the first blue uniform of the Air Force and was officially worn as dress uniform. The spacers were made from cork covered with cloth. Visor and head cavity are also blue. BTE S.D.G.D. is punched in the ventilation ring.The helmet was painted with lime paint, the chinstrap is missing!
