Descripción
This is an M1917A1 Kelly Helmet painted with a camouflage pattern, and named on the liner to Albert J. Beauparlant, who served in the U.S. Navy during the 1950’s. The Kelly Helmet saw use during the 1930’s and early 1940’s, so this helmet may have been painted by Beauparlant during his time in the Navy. Or it may have been painted during the era they were worn and Beauparlant wrote his name in it during his adolescence. The helmet itself is in amazing condition, with a full liner and chinstrap, and the paint being spectacularly preserved. The helmet is very good++. Please be sure to review all photos. H28-2
