Para reducir el peso y el costo de MASKA-1, MASKA-1SCh (alternativamente romanizado como MASKA-1SH; ruso: Маска-1Щ) reemplazó el visor de vidrio con una placa de acero cortada. Los diseños posteriores hicieron la hendidura integral a la visera de acero.

DO NOT confuse with steel MASKA helmet. This helmet was produced in 1993-1996 in limited series, hand made, was used in assault teams of special forces of FSB, MIA(operations during war in Chechnya) Very rare, only one helmet with titanium visor. Size: up to 59. Prototype of K6-3 helmet but lighter.Rare item.
